The occasional thoughts of someone who has never managed to keep a journal going once whatever crisis that spawned the journal in the first place has passed.

Can you tell I'm on my anti-pet kick? Although I had to concede to two hermit crabs and two betas last weekend, and apparently we're purchasing about 8 more fish this weekend.
But, none of these critters pee on the carpet, so it is all good.
